Week 32
Prenatal Online Exercise
Hello There!
At this stage in your pregnancy..
Baby size: cabbage. All of your baby’s major organs are fully developed now, except for the lungs.
As your pregnancy progresses you may be struggling with fears about your upcoming labour or about parenting a child. It is important to recognise these concerns. If you find that talking with friends and family or your caregiver is not enough, you may want to seek professional support. Many public hospitals have psychologists on staff who your midwife can refer you to and many private obstetricians have psychologists associated with their practice. There are also many fabulous courses designed to help prepare women (and couples) for childbirth and parenting.
Have a listen to our chat with Anna Siebert, a childhood educator and mentor, who discusses preparing for labour in a way you may not have considered.

This Week’s Spotlight
Get the lowdown.
The Scooter
This exercise helps you to develop lumbopelvic stability, along with lower limb strength. Ensure that you have two points of contact with the mat at all times. Modify this exercise by making the length of the scooter shorter.
Bow and Arrow Stretch
The bow and arrow, also known as the archer, is great for upper back mobility. You can do this stretch in standing or sitting. Sitting will lock your pelvis into a forward neutral position so when standing, be sure to use your deep abdominals to keep your pelvis facing forwards.
Upper Back Stretch Class
Are you feeling tight through the upper back and stiff through the neck? Join Millie to mobilise and lengthen through the upper body. Grab a fitball, a chair or do the stretch in standing. Ahhh, this feels good!
Mothering the Mother
Join Anna as she chats about understanding the journey into parenthood from a neurological and emotional standpoint. For more information about the courses Anna runs, check out her website at www.annasiebert.com.au
