Prenatal Online Exercise

 

Hello There!

At this stage in your pregnancy..

Baby size: bunch of spinach. Baby is practicing for their grand entrance by inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid, blinking and turning from side to side. Babies born after 37 weeks are regarded as being born on time or 'at term'.

Your baby's overall growth slows down considerably now. They do not grow as much in length and put on approximately 230 grams per week. The amount of amniotic fluid around your baby slightly decreases from around 37 weeks.

As your baby grows ever bigger your ribs flare out to accommodate them, often causing rib pain and discomfort. Equipment needed: Resistance band, 1-2 towels or cushions, mat

Mermaid Stretch

This stretch is fantastic for the upper back, arms, wrists and neck and you can perform it in standing, sitting or kneeling. Use this exercise throughout the day if you are feeling stiff or sore.

Straight Leg Raises

In sidelying, this is a great way to strengthen your buttocks by lifting the top leg against gravity. This exercise requires core strength to keep yourself  in a neutral position through the exercise. Once you get the hang of it, then use your breath, exhale to lift the leg, inhale to lower.

Stretch Mat Class

Join MIllie and stretch out on the mat. This class complements the mat class so well and hits all the big muscle groups. Don’t forget that this class is stored on our resources page so you can access it any time.
