Week 41
Prenatal Online Exercise
Hello There!
At this stage in your pregnancy..
Baby size: bigger watermelon. Some researchers theorise that baby actually sends some chemical signals to the mother to help trigger labor to begin.
Oh my gosh mama, you are 41 weeks pregnant! Your midwife or obstetrician has probably discussed the option of labour induction with you, but that doesn't mean that you won't still go into labour on your own; some babies just need to take their time. Your caregivers are there to assist and guide you through this process. We wish you all the very best in the week ahead and the birth of your baby.

This Week’s Spotlight
Get the lowdown.
Bow and Arrow
The bow and arrow, also known as the archer, is great for upper back mobility. You can do this stretch in standing or sitting. Sitting will lock your pelvis into a forward neutral position so when standing, be sure to use your deep abdominals to keep your pelvis facing forwards.
Abdominal Activation
Abdominal activation is necessary to stabilise through the midline when performing a challenging core exercise, however, it can feel tricky to just turn on the deep abdominals. We go through different cues that can help turn those muscles on.
Upper Body Stretch
Join Millie to move and stretch the upper body, lengthening through the spine and broadening across the chest. This stretch can be done at any time during pregnancy and also compliments the Stretching with Pelvic Pain class.
Fitball Class
Grab your resistance band and ball and join Millie in this squat class, tailored to the third trimester. Maintain strength through your legs and pelvis to assist in an active labour and prepare for the demands of having a baby. Don’t forget that this video is stored on our resources page so you can access it any time.
