Meet Millie & Nat…

We’re Millie and Natalie—Canberra-based physiotherapists, women’s health specialists, and mums. With five children between us, we understand the challenges of pregnancy and postpartum. Like many other women, we discovered that our pregnancy, birth, and recovery journeys weren’t as straight forward as we had imagined.

In 2014 we founded Bub & Me Physio with a clear vision: to provide mothers with access to expert-led exercise and education. We believe every mother deserves to feel informed, strong, and supported throughout the remarkable and challenging journey of motherhood.

Physio-led exercise and expert education for every stage of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Choose from our week-by-week online programs or face-to-face classes.

With 25 years of combined experience we provide expert care, tailored exercises for each trimester and postpartum, and all the support you need to stay strong and confident on your motherhood journey.

Got Questions?

  • We’ve made our classes as accessible as possible. Every session is recorded, so you can join in whenever it suits you and pause the video whenever you need to. This is especially handy if your pregnant bladder needs a break or if bub calls for your attention!

  • Yes! Every online workout includes options to adjust the difficulty, so you can tailor it to your needs, and in our face-to-face workouts your physio customises each class for you. We understand that starting can be the hardest part, but we're here to support you every step of the way!

  • Our online exercises are designed to be simple and easy to follow. All you need is a resistance band, which we’ll send to you. Besides that, just grab a mat or towel, find a little space, and you’re all set to get moving!

  • Easy! If you’re unsure about anything during the class, have a question, or are experiencing pain, feel free to reach out to our pelvic floor physiotherapists. We’re always happy to help and answer any questions you may have!

  • Our mat classes are held at Origin Physiotherapy in Deakin and our aquatic classes are held at Hartley Hydrotherapy in Hughes.

  • As a physio-led program, we are advocates for your core and pelvic floor so specific strengthening exercises are included in every class.

  • No. This is not a requirement to participate in our classes because we understand that not all women are able to see a Women's Health Physio. However, if you are able to, we strongly recommend that you see a women's health physio in your second trimester and around 6-8 weeks postnatal.
